JCC

Joint Crisis Committee

This year, the JCC explores a defining moment in South Asian history under its agenda for ISMUN 2k26. Set during the Bangladesh Liberation War, the committee examines the escalation which led to the full-scale war on 3 December 1971. The conflict brought three major countries into direct confrontation: India, West Pakistan, and East Pakistan.

With the freeze date set on 16 December 1971, delegates enter the committee at the decisive stage of the war, where the future of an emerging nation hangs in the balance, and where any decision they make can change the course of history.
